FORECLOSURE

Currently, Greenville County has the highest foreclosure rate in South Carolina. Next Monday, there are over 200 houses to be sold to the highest bidder because of foreclosures. This is a great time to buy houses but bad time to sell. If you had the money to buy and sit on it a while, this would be a great investment. Hopefully, the economy will turn around and people can actually live without being in so much debt. Hundreds are paying their bills with credit cards now because of having no job.


I have a computer test today for work. I am not thrilled about getting up early to take a class for 3 days. I remind myself that at least I have a job and for that I am thankful.

TAX REBATE

Our tax rebate should be here with in the next week or so. We were talking about what we should do with the money. Some people are going to pay on bills, some will take vacations and others will spend the money. Jeff and I have decided to put our money in the bank and use it for gas and food. With the new report on DRUDGE today, America could see gas rise to $10 per gallon. I hope that this never happens. Alternate modes of transportation are being utilized already. I saw on the news where a man is riding his horse in protest to the rising costs of gas.

We are already considering buying a type of hybrid, but we may have to buy horses and a buggy instead! What are you planning on doing with your tax rebate?

NEW PASTOR

We are excited and are currently anticipating the arrival of Dr. Rob Jackson to Forestville Baptist Church. Dr. Jackson will be here Friday May 2 to speak to the Church. On Saturday, he and his family will meet with church members for a time of fellowship. On Sunday, he will be preaching and following the service, the church will vote on him.

God has brought the people of Forestville a long way. One hundred and twenty five years of history. Jeff and I look forward in seeing God do new and great things at Forestville! If you are looking for exciting times and a place to worship God, try Forestville. You will not regret it.
